Full Tilt Rush Poker

Full Tilt now offers Rush Poker, a new spin on the game we all know and love.  In the patent-pending Rush Poker, you’ll test your skill against a larger player base.  Every time you fold your hand, you’re moved to another table for the next hand.  This makes reading the players more challenging, and takes strategy to a whole new level.

Rush doesn’t necessarily mean faster, though, at least in the time limits.  You have the same amount of time to make a decision on a hand as you would in a standard ring game.  However, before the flop the decision time is reduced if no players have raised before you.  In the event of a raise, you’ll have longer to make a decision and the option of additional time through the time bank.  Where Rush is faster is the number of hands seen per hour, which can be exponentially greater.

Blinds are randomly assigned to the player who has gone the most hands without posting one.  In the event of a tie, from the tied players someone will be randomly selected to post the big blind.  The small blind and seating positions will be completely random from hand to hand.

There is also a “Quick Fold” button available, if you elect to Quick Fold, you may fold your hand before the action even reaches you and move to the next table.  The players at the table you are leaving will be unaware that you have folded, until the action reaches your seat.  Though you can use the Quick Fold option anytime, unless you’re all in or have added chips to the pot, but keep in mind that the Quick Fold is irreversible.  Once you click it, you’re off to the next table and the next hand.

Multi-Table options are available, but work like multiple entries in the same game.  To open multiple tables, you must click the “Join Now” button for as many times as you’d like to enter, up to four times.  You will never be seated at the same table as one of your other entries, for obvious reasons.

To find Rush Poker, open up the Full Tilt software and look for the button next to the clock which says “Rush Poker”.  Clicking the button will take you to a completely different looking lobby, which is in fact the same lobby with a much cooler more streamlined design.  A click on the “Basic View” tab underneath the Full Tilt logo will let you select the type of game you’re looking for in an easy to navigate manner.  This option takes the search work out of the game when seeking a table at your desired stakes and game type.

Rush Poker is available in both ring game and tournament modes.  Both work essentially the same, with a small difference for tournament play.  In a tournament, the game will continue to get more and more shorthanded as members are reduced, in order to continue to move you to different tables after each hand.  Once the final table is determined the game switches to standard tournament play, with players no longer moving.  Great tutorials are available on FullTiltPoker.com to show Rush Poker in action and further explain this poker phenomenon.

Full Tilt’s Rush Poker promises to change things up a bit, and add exciting new elements to the game.  Players earn Full Tilt Points while playing, redeemable for cash and prizes in the Full Tilt Store.  Because there is no consistent table in Rush Poker, with players being moved at the end of every hand, there is no way to observe the game.  To check out Rush Poker, you’ve got to sign up and give it a try!
