Full Tilt Linux

Options for Linux Users on Full Tilt

For users who prefer alternatives to the standard Windows PC operating systems, Full Tilt has options.  Though there is no pure Linux version available for Full Tile, the WINE program is an easy and free way to get full access to the Full Tilt software.

Start by downloading the WINE program at www.winehq.org.  WINE is a software program that allows you to use the Windows software programs on other operating systems, like Linux.  WINE is free, open-source and almost entirely written by volunteers.  User-created software like WINE is regularly updated to meet the needs of its user base, and technical support can be found in the dozens of online forums which cater to the WINE user base.

After downloading and installing WINE, download Full Tilt Poker in the standard version and run as normal.  Here you’ll be able to enter your bonus or referral code and start playing.

Though Linux cannot run the Full Tilt Software on its own, with the WINE program it runs it without a problem.  There may be a few small differences between playing through a Linux system rather than using a standard Windows PC, but the overall game play is identical.  You’ll have the same options as a Windows Client user such as real money and play money, promotions and bonuses.  The glitches, if you experience any, may occur when resizing screens for multi-table action or customizing the appearance of individual tables with themes.  There are plenty of online support forums designed to assist Linux users, making solutions easy to find.
